Pulse: forty templates of on air motion, one system.
On air graphics for a sports network refresh, forty templates strong, built as one system so the channel always looks like itself.
01The story
How Pulse broadcast package came together.
Pulse was a network refresh: new identity, new season, and an on air package that had to work under live broadcast pressure. Forty templates, from match bumpers to lower thirds to full screen statistics, all designed as one motion system.
We built the package around a small set of rules: one grid, one type scale, one motion vocabulary. Broadcast operators got tidy project files with clear handles and safe areas, so anything could be turned around between matches.
Two years on, the network still runs the system with minor seasonal updates, which is the outcome we care about most: motion design that outlives the campaign that paid for it.
02Case
Pulse broadcast package
On air graphics for a sports network refresh, forty templates strong, built as one system so the channel always looks like itself.
A refreshed sports channel identity that needed to look consistent across forty on air formats.
One grid, one type scale, one motion vocabulary, encoded into templates broadcast operators can actually drive.
An on air system still in service two years later, with seasonal updates instead of rebuilds.
